40th Birthday Party

I knew I wanted live music for my husband’s 40th birthday party so I went on the hunt looking for the right performers. I had the pleasure of seeing The Albertson Duo at a local venue and instantly knew they were the ones. They were so talented, creative and engaging. We made a song request and though they weren’t super-familiar with it, they were such good sports and performed it anyways.
On the day of the party, they performed the song again! Remembering our request from weeks before was such an attentive and considerate touch. They demonstrated these characteristic throughout. Before the party I sent a Spotify list of some of our favorite music, not as a request, but examples of the music we enjoyed. They surprised me by performing so many of the songs on the list! And what they didn’t personally perform, they had on their transition/intermission playlist.
In addition to being lovely, talented people, they were incredibly professional; they were responsive, flexible about scheduling and didn’t bat an eye about performing outside in July at our backyard pool party.
They were a clear highlight of the party. They were worth every penny and more. Anyone considering them should not hesitate in booking them.
My only regret is that I don’t have another party for which to book them…but I’m looking for an excuse!
Wedding Reception - The Monks Cellar, Roseville CA

The Albertson Duo performed at our wedding reception. We got to hand pick songs from their playlist to create the setlist. Their options were packed with favorite songs across many music genres and we were able to create a good mix for all of our guests to enjoy! They asked if we had any special requests for them to learn and perform. We were so impressed with their performance for the song we selected as our first dance! They even fulfilled a spontaneous request that one of our guests asked for that night. So cool!!
We can’t say enough wonderful things about David & Megan Albertson! They were organized, professional, flexible, kind, genuine and so extremely talented! They helped set the tone of our reception and kept the flow of the night going. We had so many people ask about them and tell us how amazing they are and gosh, we couldn’t agree more! We are so incredibly impressed with them and are overjoyed they were part of our celebration!

Wedding Performance

My husband and I had the Albertson Duo play at our wedding in June of this year and they did a fantastic job. I had heard them the year before at a winery and fell in love with their sound. I wasn’t even engaged yet and knew I wanted them at my wedding. Their sound isn’t like most bands out there and especially wedding bands! When I contacted them about playing at our wedding, they were super responsive and on top of everything weeks before the wedding. They coordinated everything with my DJ and totally left me out of it. I have nothing but great things to say about them as a band and also they are just the sweetest couple! They were even in the sun while they were playing at our wedding in 97 degree heat and never complained once! Megan even followed up with me a couple days later thanking me for letting them be a part of our wedding. I had multiple guests tell me how amazing they were and how it just made the vibe at my wedding even better. I would definitely recommend them for events! Our big day wouldn’t have been the same without them; they did such a beautiful job!

My husband and I randomly went into Ninja Sushi one night with friends and the Albertson Duo was playing. We had planned on just having 1 drink and moving on but stayed the whole night listening to them play in amazement of how good they were! We ended up hiring them to play for our 40th Birthday bash and everyone couldn't stop asking for their info, highly recommend using them for your events or at the very least checking them out one night at their gigs. You will be hooked :).
